The cable structure adopts waterproof layers, which prevents moisture ingress into cable and prolong the service life of the cable, it can pass the Radial Moisture Penetration Test and Longitudinal Water Penetration Test of Taipower and IEC standards. For the Radial Moisture Penetration, it frequently uses Metal Foil-plastic Laminated Tape, metal pipes and other materials to prevent water from intruding into the cable from the outside. For The Longitudinal Water Penetration, it frequently uses swelling powder, water-block swelling tape and other materials to prevent water from spreading inside the cable, and has been applied to public works laborers at domestic and foreign area.
